After initially joining as a stand-in for IEM Cologne and performing well there, he was offered a permanent position on their roster and has since participated in some of the largest LAN tournaments such as DreamHack Winter 2023.
He also participated in the CS2 World Championship 2023 held in Berlin, helping his team finish third – an outstanding accomplishment for them as this was their inaugural major LAN tournament win! Sdy and Monte worked closely during competition and managed to defeat Eternal Fire in the final matchup.
Sdy is not only one of the finest Counter Strike: Global Offensive players in the world; he is also making strides with his scientific career. His contributions to materials physics are numerous while his research in ultrafast electron diffraction and femtosecond lasers has won him multiple awards and fellowships. Furthermore, Sdy has presented his research at numerous international conferences and seminars, publishing over 150 peer-reviewed articles along the way.
Sdy is a true team player and has shown this throughout his time with NAVI. He works hard to develop his abilities and achieve optimal results for the team; NAVI appreciates having him aboard and is looking forward to watching him excel even further in future LAN tournaments!
